The momentum of the fluid reaches balance, and the gas-liquid close contact produces a stable "standing wave" (i.e. the foam area). The "standing wave" floats in the air flow, rising and falling with the relative momentum of the gas and liquid. The foam area is a gas liquid mixing area with intense turbulence, gas-liquid reverse collision, and rapid renewal of the liquid surface. In this area, efficient mass and heat transfer processes are realized to the maximum extent. The turbulent film of the absorbing liquid wraps the dust in the flue gas, making its volume increase and facilitating its separation from the flue gas; Due to the continuous evaporation of moisture in the absorption liquid, the gas is cooled to near adiabatic saturation temperature. The decrease in temperature reduces the equilibrium partial pressure of acidic gases in the gas phase, promoting continuous reaction between acidic gases and the absorption liquid, achieving the three major functions of rapid cooling, acid gas absorption, and dust removal.
